Deluxe and Fries

Dick's Drive In is a local institution, with six locations these days dispensing burgers, fries, shakes, and assorted other delectable to enthusiastic crowds.  I understand Dick's was founded in 1954, but I have only personally been savoring their burgers as far as I can recall for forty years, primarily from their Holman Road, Queen Anne, and Lake City outlets.

I was intrigued to learn of a 22-mile walk organized to visit all six Dick's locations.  Walking, Dick's, and good burgers all of interest to me.  I missed out on this walk, which I gather took place last weekend, but it seems like a great idea.  Ideally, I want to do my serious walking in wilder environs, but, as they sing, you can't always get what you want.  A vigorous urban walk might just be what I need.

The Dick's establishment is also laudable for its' forward-looking employee policies.
