Sports-potato-dom As It Oughta Be

I don't know that it can get much closer to Nirvana for a proper sports fan. Still reeling from the World Cup and all the incredible skills on display (and yes, player lunacy and officials too often taking the game into their own hands with way too many cards), now we have a wide-open Tour de France.

Setting scene, after proper Colbert Report cerebral massage: Le Tour with a little chunk of aged Parmesan, a slice of dry Italian Salami, and a nice glass of French wine.
